Iain Cannell previews the UEFA Group H qualification campaign and predicts his qualifiers.
A group with a seemingly obvious qualifier followed by 3 sides who will all fancy their chances of making it to Brazil.
Group H – England, Montenegro, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, San Marino
England, with a new sense of reality instilled by Roy Hodgson, will look to build on an encouraging showing at Euro 2012, beaten on penalties by eventual finallists Italy. The best thing for England now is to establish a hungry, young side and move on from the generation of Gerrard, Lampard and Terry. Whilst those players will still figure prominently in the qualifying campaign, by the time 2014 comes around, England will hope to have established a new core, built around the exciting talents of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and will hope to gain some consistency from Jack Wilshere after a nightmare 2012 lost to injuries.
