Top 5 Strikers we’d like to see in the Premier League

5. Hulk

Would he cut it in a better league? At 26, he’s just about approaching his peak so he’d better hurry. Whoever buys him will need to have deep pockets; his buy-out clause is worth a cool €100 million…

4. David Villa

Fallen out of favour at Barca under Pep, he may get a chance under the new gaffer. His international record is unreal (51 in 82), at 30 years of age, will we ever see him in the Premier League?

3. Edinson Cavani

A 20 goal a man with Napoli, he’s really exploded onto the scene in the last couple of years. As his goal scoring tally suggests, his finishing prowess is phenomenal.

2. Fernando Lllorente

El Rey Leon (The lion king in Spanish) refused to sign a new contract with Atletico Bilbao. He scored in both legs against Man Utd in the Europa League tie. Like an old fashioned English centre forward, he can hold the ball up and is physically strong. He’s not just a big lump however, he’s technically very gifted.

1. Radamel Falcao

He’s the complete striker. A performer for the big stages, he set the Europa tournament on fire last season, helping Athletico Madrid lift the cup. A fox in the box or shooting from long range, it doesn’t matter to him. Plenty of pace, it’s only a matter of time before we see him in the Premier League banging in goals left right and centre.

Surely a top English club will sign him?
