Football Betting Preview: Bayern Munich, Zlate Moravce and Lyon.

Bayern Munich vs Mainz (10/10)

Bayern Munich come into this game with their title challenge hopes dented after losing to table toppers Borussia Dortmund. They are now 6 points adrift – will they now focus their attention on the Champions League with only four games remaining?

Even if they did, they still have enough to overcome a Mainz side who are awful on the road. From 15 away games in the Bundesliga, their form reads 2-7-6. Compare this to Bayern Munich’s 15 home games – 13-0-2. At 1.30, Bayern Munich should be in anyone’s accys today.

Zlate Moravce vs Tatran Presov (6/10)

This Slovakian Super Liga tie is a tough one to call but I think the home side are a decent bet at 1.75.

Tatran Presov’s away form is as poor as they come – 1-5-7. The stat that draws my attention is failing to score 10 times in those 13 away games. Zlate Moravce have failed to score in only 2 of their 13 home games this season.

This is not a dead cert by any means which is why I’ve given it 6/10, but the price is hard to argue with those kind of stats.

Lyon vs Marseille (8/10)

It’s been a disappointing season for both teams this season in Ligue 1. Lyon sit 4th while Marseille are 9th. The latter have been on a poor run of form having not won a game for nearly two months now. That’s 12 games with them losing 11 of those. Lyon, on the other hand, have won six of their last seven games and drawing the other. Amongst those wins came against PSG and Lille who sit 2nd and 3rd in Ligue 1 respectively.

Lyon have little to play for except this cup. With Lyon at home, the price of 2.37 is stand out.
