Football Betting Preview – Ajax, Derby, Napoli and PAOK

Next we have odds against shouts. I find the price is big enough that you can play safe with doubles and trebles and still make a small profit. The prices are big for a reason, traders rarely ever get the prices wrong. So instead of having your accumulator wreaked by one team, in most cases you can regain some of your stake at least.

Cesena vs Napoli

Napoli had a terrific league campiagn in Serie A last season finishing third and qualifying for Champions League. Not only did they manage to keep their best players such as Hamsik and Cavani, they’ve strengthened with new signing Pandev from Inter Milan. Napoli won both of these fixtures last season and they seem a good bet to win their opener. Napoli to win is 2.10.

Coventry vs Derby

Coventry, it seems, may have turned a corner. After three defeats in their first three games, they’ve drawn their last two. They host a Derby side who are third in the league. Their four game winning streak came to an end against Burnley but they have managed to score in every game so far. Derby are priced at 3.00 and that big price is the reason why I’ve chosen them.

Heracles vs Ajax

This season, Ajax have found scoring second nature with 15 goals into four games. Last season, Ajax won 3-0 at home and 4-1 away in this fixture. Heracles have scored in all four of their games, so rather than taking Ajax to win on the outright, I’m taking Ajax and over 2.5 goals at 2.00.

Ergotelis vs PAOK

PAOK travel to Ergotelis having won all four games in the past two seasons. We are only one game into the new Greek league where PAOK won their opening game and Ergotelis drew. PAOK are priced at 2.25.
