Italy have me biting my nails and red cards finally goes my way.

It wasn’t a huge price but the bankers bet came in…just. Italy left it late after a better 2nd half performance where they dominated possession and continued to get closer to finding that all important goal. Chance after chance, they peppered the goal and even had a shot cleared off the line. It was looking like the scoreless draw was on the cards until Pazzini found the back of the net and saved the bet.

Israel scored just before half time to lead 1-0 going into the break. Croatia retaliated with three goals in the opening 12 minutes of the 2nd half all thanks to a red card to Ben Haim.

Finland proved to be a stubborn side for the Netherlands as the men in orange only won 2-0. They scored their 1st in the middle of the first half. Finland had a man sent off in the 60th minute but the Netherlands failed to capitalise and only scored one more goal in injury time.
