Europa league – Is there such a thing as a confident bet?

There are some decent odds on some well known team floating around tonight. I’ll be putting these teams into an accy as I’m fairly confident of wins for these teams.

Rabonicki vs Lazio

Lazio dominated the game against Rabonicki – putting six past them without reply. Lazio had 14 attempts on goal while the Macedonians had a solitary 1. Lazio have invested in quality strikers such as Djibril Cisse and Miroslav Klose both scoring 2 and 1 respectively in the game. Lazio begin their campaign this weekend so I don’t expect them to play for long, but Lazio will have enough to see of a team who only have pride to play for. Lazio to win is 1.60.

Sevilla vs Hannover

Sevilla are another big name but they find themselves trailing to a Hannover side who have had a good start to the season. Sevilla can score goals for fun as shown in the La Liga last season. They also showed the concede in equal measures. Buoyed by a home victory, Hannover will feel they have a real chance to enter unknown European competition territory. Both teams to score is 1.67.

Schalke vs HJK Helsinki

Schalke enjoyed an excellent and somewhat surprising run in the Champions League last year, only to be knocked out by European powerhouses Man Utd. Although Schalke lost 2-0 on the night against underdogs HJK Helsinki, they did manage more shots than the home side. At the weekend, they were trailing 2-0 at half-time to Mainz. Whatever was said in that dressing room, it worked. Schalke romped away with a 4-2 win. Confidence will be flying and they have the home crowd. Also, legends like Raul will surely not go out with a whimper and will fire Schalke through this tie. I think they will overturn the deposit and I’m looking at the Germans to qualify at 1.73.
